Long Tien pagoda, the biggest in Halong was built at the end of the
Nguyen dynasty (1941). It consists of six rooms, two stories and
eight roofs.
Long Tien pagoda is the holding place for all of the statues from
the temples and pagodas of Halong city, a sort of museum of
religious figures. In a addition to Buddha, this pagoda is also
dedicated to the "Holy Mother" and to the heroes of the Tran
dynasty.
