Spread over 60 square metres on two floors, P offers the usual range
of souvenirs but what makes it quite different from other souvenir
shops is its collection of propaganda pictures.
The pictures, drawn
by artist Luong Anh dung, are accompanied by slogans like "To urge
national modernisation and industrialisation" and "Building a
civilised, modern and prosperous capital."
Some are small versions
of those currently hanging in the streets and some date back
decades, even to the war years.
