Nhan Mountain – Da River is a beautiful
beautyspot cluster that has made a great deal of impression on the
tourists visiting Phu Yen. Nhan Mountain is located on the northern
bank of the Da Rang River, belonging to the area of Ward I, Tuy Hoa
town. It is also called “Nui Bao Thap” (the Precious Tower Mountain)
or “Thap Dinh” (the Palace Tower).

Standing at the height of 40 metres on the top
of Nhan Mountain , tourists can enjoy a landscape of Phu Yen with a
whole view of Tuy Hoa town, Binh Ngoc Flower village, Da Bia
mountain, the Pacific Ocean and the two bridges of 1,100 metres, one
is for railroad and the other is a road bridge, running parallel
across the Da Rang river.
On the top of Nhan Mountain, there is the ancient Cham Tower, it is
also called Nhan Tower which was built by Chiem Thanh people in
around the 14th century.

The Tower has a stable construction of a cubic square which is
20 metres high, consisting of four storeys, smaller towards
the top, on its highest part is a conical Lin-ga of stone.
Nowadays, the beautyspot Cluster of “Nhan Mountain – Da River” has
become the symbol of Phu Yen and the Nhan Tower has been recognised
by the Ministry of Culture and Information as the National Vestige
of the Art and Construction.
Every year, on the occasion of festivals and New Year’s Days, there
are many musical, cultural, recreational activities organized on the
top of Nhan Mountain. Especially on the annual middle of lunar
January, here takes place the Nguyen Tieu Night of Poems attracting
a great number of artists and tourists.
